Prepare first

Before Installation

Pre-installation checklist

  • Match every carton label and manual to the exact model number before opening hardware bags.
  • Measure the finished opening at the top, middle, and bottom; confirm the walls are within the model's adjustment range.
  • Confirm the threshold is level, clean, dry, and wide enough for the bottom track.
  • Identify plumbing or electrical lines before drilling.
  • Lay glass panels on padded supports and keep corner protectors installed until required.

Tools you may need

  • Tape measure
  • 4 ft. level
  • Pencil
  • Drill and suitable bits
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Hex keys
  • Utility knife
  • 100% bathroom silicone and caulk gun
  • Safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves
  • A second adult helper
Safety note: Tempered glass is heavy and vulnerable at its edges. Use two adults, wear eye and hand protection, support panels on padded blocks, and never place glass directly on tile or concrete. Stop and contact support if the opening is out of square or any glass edge is damaged.
